This is a collage created for my university’s juried art show. It was created with watercolor, acrylic, and vintage book cut-outs.
The Teenage Brain on Summer is, as the name of this piece implies, meant to capture the feeling of looking back on your summer days as a teen. The viewer is meant to be looking out on a lake with snippets of memories flashing through. Images of concerts, stars, and drugs splice the faded image of a lake.
