Plaster Mold Hands is a project created for my 4-D Art class. The materials used were plaster and latex gloves.
This project was done to show the importance of negative space and positive space. I came upon a box of latex gloves in the classroom and decided to make an entire army of plaster hands. They are meant to be stacked on top of one another in a sort of psuedo-collaberative sense. These hands don’t fit together perfectly, leaving a cavern of negative space.
